79Thank you for listening! Wally is one of the series' rivals that always struck me as earnest and likeable and, even before his ORAS redesign, felt like a solid character. And then the 3DS remakes went and drove Wally's cool factor through the roof by debuting Mega Gallade as his ace - and giving him a unique theme that most Trainers would be envious of!
In this remix, I wanted to create something powerful and emotional, in terms of both music and visuals. Long before I started working on this remix, I had a very clear idea of what I wanted to do with the video aspects (which doesn't often happen, admittedly), and the middle segment in particular is very special to me - I hope you'll find it memorable! This remix definitely ended up having a decidedly "anime" sort of feel in the end... even more than I anticipated. 😅
It's always a bit daunting for me, venturing into new territory and trying out new approaches or techniques.
