45Thank you for watching! Grab hold of your nearest corrosion-resistant board and gear up for some serious action, because it's Sewer Surfin' time! This song is a fan-favorite track in an already-legendary OST, and I hope this remix will have you saying "COWABUNGA!" like it's 1992!
For this remix, I had one major goal, above all: to make it sound RADICAL. And who better to take this piece to the next level than gnarly guitarist @dannykmusic812 ? Prior to working on this remix, I had been playing Shredder's Revenge - highly recommended, by the way - and I just couldn't get enough of its soundtrack, and how it featured real guitar playing alongside synthesized elements. I wanted to take a similar approach here to modernize this iconic track, and Danny graciously lent his talents and recorded some seriously sick lead, rhythm, and supporting guitar parts!
I cannot express in words alone how much of a pleasure it was to work with Danny on this remix. He's truly the Shredder in terms of guitar work, but unlike the infamous TMNT villain, you'd be hard-pressed to meet a more generous, supportive, and kindhearted person!
