Like with Snow in Boyleland, the game gives you a vague idea of where you're supposed to look for your objective without being too specific. All the game tells you (if you ask Mrs. Winter) is that Murph went to Almia Castle, but with no clues as to where. The idea here is you once again need to remember information from earlier in the game to deduce where to look; Murph's blue pendant is what started the search for the colored gems to begin with, so he's where the Blue Gem used to be. It's pretty straightforward once you figure that out.
