Yet another way to end your adventure in Hoenn.

Thanks to Kane Teeth for bringing this method to my attention. This one can only be done at a very specific time during the main adventure.

The only possible way out of this might be to trade with Pokemon Colosseum or XD to send over a Pokemon with Surf, assuming those games actually allow you to trade if you have just one Pokemon left. (Which the GBA games don't)

Even though I'm using Pokemon Ruby for this video, I'm sure this method would still work for Pokemon Emerald as well. Although you're forced to get HM03 Surf immediately after defeating Norman, it wouldn't make a difference without any Pokeballs and any way to obtain more. Heck, it might even work for Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire...
