I used: Iron Treads, Gyarados, Gardevoir, and Skeledirge
My Opponent used: Murkrow, Anniholape (Annihilape), Mousehold (Maushold), and Gholgendo (Gholdengo)
Stadium: Pokémon League
Battle BGM: Trainer Battle

Those are some interesting nicknames, well I wouldn't say the most interesting, but as in how their nicknames are either changing around the words in the Pokémon's name, for example, with Gholdengo, the "g" and the "d" are swapped, while Maushold's nickname makes it sound like how its name would be if its name was translated from German to English, "Maus" is German for "Mouse", which I find it strange when Paldea is based on Spain, although I do like how they went with the name Maushold, I did look at its name origin page on Bulbapedia, and its name can be a play on "Mouse Hole". This is the Family of Four Maushold, while the Family of Three form is very rare to obtain, there is an easy way to get that form in Tera Raid Battles.
I did do an earlier online battle where I was up against a Shiny Annihilape, and I couldn't even tell that the Maushold in that fight was a Shiny Pokémon, because Maushold's Shiny coloration isn't even that different than normal.
As with the Pokémon that I use in this battle, I go with Iron Treads and Gyarados for the lead, and I was surprised to see Murkrow use Haze, which is a good strategy to counter Dragon Dance, but it did remove the Attack boost on Annihilape, as its Attack was boosted through Defiant. I did read about Murkrow seeing top usage as it is one of very few Pokémon to get Prankster for its Ability and it has access to Tailwind, and it learns many status moves like Thunder Wave, Haze, and many other moves.
This battle is where I test out Gardevoir, and she has a Fire Tera Type, which not only is good defensively as that turns her weaknesses to types like Steel to resistances, but it does give her Mystical Fire extra power. She has Dazzling Gleam to hit both targets, and Psychic as a single target STAB move, Gardevoir was this close to not making it to the team, and in her place would have been a Fairy-type Pokémon that I have previously used on a Double Battle team. My opponent's team did have some Pokémon that see use in a high level competitive scene, I wasn't sure if Maushold had Technician or Friend Guard, because that thing was doing a lot of damage with all the hits from Population Bomb, while Friend Guard is usually there to reduce the damage from attacks against its team, and interesting bit of trivia, Maushold is the only Pokémon to get Friend Guard as a standard Ability, despite the Ability having existed since Generation 5, every Pokémon that has Friend Guard before then has had it as a Hidden Ability.
