The Pokémon Presents has announced some upcoming Tera Raid Events, and during that time, you can get a Mew with a random Tera Type through Mystery Gift. This Mew is at Level 5 and comes with Swift, Light Screen, and Life Dew, and a random move based on its Tera Type, so the following moves it can have are Hyper Voice, Aura Sphere, Air Slash, Sludge Bomb, Earth Power, Power Gem, Pollen Puff, Shadow Ball, Flash Cannon, Flamethrower, Surf, Energy Ball, Thunderbolt, Psyshock, Ice Beam, Dragon Pulse, Dark Pulse, and Dazzling Gleam.
This is because Mewtwo will be coming to 7 Star Tera Raid Events, and if you use that Mew in the event, it will get a boost to its stats, and to prepare, Pokémon that can help against Mewtwo will be available during the event, the first wave is Prepare the Offense, those being the attackers, Scizor, Hydreigon, and Blissey are in the Tera Raid Battles during that time, Blissey is back once again and you can get a lot of Tera Shards from doing them.
For moves, Scizor has Night Slash, Agility, Aerial Ace, and X-Scissor, and its additional moves are Focus Energy and X-Scissor. We don't know what moves Mewtwo will have in the 7 Star Tera Raid battles, and while Scizor is a great offensive Pokémon, Mewtwo can learn Flamethrower, and if it does, this removes Scizor as an option. Scizor can use Pounce if it has Technician, this can help weaken Mewtwo's Speed, and it can boost its Attack with Swords Dance, it can support allies with Light Screen, Scizor does come with some good moves to help out.
Hydreigon has Dark Pulse, Scary Face, Dragon Pulse, and Earth Power, with Snarl and Nasty Plot as additional moves. Hydreigon can use Snarl to weaken Mewtwo's Special Attack, and it has Nasty Plot to boost its Special Attack to deal some massive damage with Dark Pulse. I checked to see if Mewtwo can learn any Fairy-type moves, it cannot, but it can learn Ice Beam and Aura Sphere, which are moves that deal super effective damage to Hydreigon. It can also learn Taunt to prevent Mewtwo from using any status moves it can know, like Calm Mind or Nasty Plot.
Then for Blissey, this Pokémon is an excellent supporter, it can use Light Screen to reduce damage from Mewtwo's attacks, it can use Life Dew to heal its teammates, Helping Hand to power up its ally's next move, and if it wants to deal damage, it can learn Shadow Ball. Blissey can provide good support, and it has very high Special Defense to withstand Mewtwo's powerful attacks, but if it has Psystrike, its signature move, this can turn the battle around, as Psystrike targets the Defense stat to deal damage and not Special Defense.
The best Tera Type to get on Mew would be Dark or Bug, while the Tera Type you get is random, those are the types to help when Mewtwo comes around. Mew can learn Snarl and Struggle Bug to weaken Mewtwo's Special Attack, while Bug Buzz or Dark Pulse are its main moves once Terastallized, it can use Light Screen and Life Dew to help allies out, this Pokémon does learn a wide variety to moves that can help in most Tera Raid events, Mew can even use Acid Spray to weaken the Special Defense stat of the Tera Raid Pokémon.
Some good rewards you can get from the Tera Raids are some TMs for moves like Dragon Dance, Swords Dance, Nasty Plot, and Calm Mind, those can come to use on Pokémon that can learn those moves.
