This is our next 7 Star Tera Raid Event, and to tie in is Iron Bundle with the Ice Tera Type. It is not the only event happening, there is the return of the Blissey Tera Raid Event which awards a lot of Tera Shards, and the Delibird outbreak event as well. I do show the Mystery Gift code where you get a Terastal Cap, which does tie in with the Pokémon Anime.
To start things off is the Iron Bundle Tera Raid Event, it has an Ice Tera Type, and its moves are Freeze-Dry, Hydro Pump, Blizzard, and Chilling Water, and its extra moves are Snowscape, Aurora Veil, and Electric Terrain. Iron Bundle uses Snowscape and Aurora Veil at the start, at 75% HP or at 80% time, Iron Bundle sets up a shield, and it will reset the player's stats around then and use Electric Terrain, at 45% HP, Iron Bundle resets its own stats, and at 50% time is when it uses Snowscape.
As this is an Ice-type, your best options are Fighting and Steel-type Pokémon, this is because Iron Bundle is part Water-type, making Fire and Rock-types not that good to use against it. The Pokémon that I went with for this one is Empoleon, I changed his Tera Type to Steel and I gave him Brick Break to get through the Aurora Veil, Mud-Slap to decrease Iron Bundle's accuracy to make Hydro Pump hit less, Roost to heal, and Flash Cannon as the main attack when Empoleon is Terastallized.
For other options, Iron Hands is a decent pick as its Quark Drive will activate when Iron Bundle sets up the Electric Terrain, Magearna is good when doing it solo as its Soul-Heart activates each time your teammates go down, and Magearna can use Metal Sound and Flash Cannon to deal a lot of damage. I did see one player using a Frosmoth, which is a good support Pokémon as Frosmoth can use Struggle Bug to lower Iron Bundle's Special Attack, other notable options for Pokémon that can lower stats are Duraludon which can use Snarl, for other Steel-types, Metagross is a great choice, it can use Psychic Fangs to remove the Aurora Veil, and it can use Hone Claws to boost its Attack and accuracy to make Meteor Mash hit often, and one of the new Paradox Pokémon, which I don't want to spoil but there is one new Paradox Pokémon introduced in the Indigo Disk that is really good against Iron Bundle.
As for Iron Bundle itself, its best stats are Special Attack and Speed, it has a Modest Nature to give it a Special Attack boost from Quark Drive, but what I did not know about prior to this event is that if its Special Attack is lowered, its Speed is boosted from Quark Drive, I never knew that another Pokémon's stat is boosted from Quark Drive or Protosynthesis if their highest stat is lowered. Iron Bundle's movepool is mostly Ice and Water-type moves, like Ice Beam, Hydro Pump, Freeze-Dry, Chilling Water, and Blizzard, and it has Snowscape to give it the Defense boost from the snow, which works well with its Ice Tera Type. Iron Bundle does learn some nice status moves like Taunt, Encore, and Helping Hand, and it can use Flip Turn and U-turn to switch out, but Flip Turn tends to better as it gets STAB from it. Iron Bundle can work with an Ice Tera Type for extra power from its Ice-type moves like Ice Beam and Freeze-Dry, or a Water Tera Type to increase the power of its Hydro Pump, if it needs a defensive Tera Type, Ghost is a solid pick as it gets an immunity to Fighting-type moves through it, Iron Bundle has Freeze-Dry to handle the Water-types that normally resist its STAB moves, and while it would stick with its STAB types for its Tera Type, Ghost can be good in Double Battles to avoid priority moves like Fake Out, Extreme Speed, and Mach Punch. It is good that we get a Paradox Pokémon for the 7 Star Tera Raid Event, and Iron Bundle cannot normally be obtained in Pokémon Scarlet, so this Tera Raid Event does give players a good chance to obtain this Pokémon.
