Status of my team: Graveler Lv30, Fearow Lv30, Magmar Lv30, Weepinbell
Lv30, Ampharos Lv30 and Feraligatr Lv30... yeah, everyone is at Level
30. What do you expect?We head back to Olivine City and provide Jasmine
with the medicine needed to cure the Ampharos that is in the
lighthouse. With that taken care of, we head to Olivine City Gym and
encounter the only obstacle that stands between me and the 6th Badge,
Janine. She uses Steel-type Pokemon in which as you know in the
original Gold, Silver and Crystal is a type that was recently
discovered not to mention has strong resistance against various
types.She has the following Pokemon in her party:Magnemite Lv30,
Magnemite Lv30 and Steelix Lv35Her Magnemite can be taken care of with
Ground-type attacks but her biggest threat is the Steelix. It has the
following moves; Rock Throw, Sandstorm, Screech and Iron Tail. My best
suggestion is to slow it down by using a paralyzing move like Stun
Spore. Once that happens, let 'em have it with Fire, Water and
Ground-type attacks. Just make sure to be prepared as Steelix can be
tough if you don't know what you are doing.After the battle, she hands
you the Mineral Badge and TM23 which teaches Iron Tail. Not only that,
but all Pokemon up to Level 70 will obey you without question since
you'll have six badges. She was the same back then in G/S/C and she's
the same here. Not much to say other than seeing Magmar take that
