Pokemon Soul Silver Walkthrough Part 34
In this episode I take on the 8th and final Gym in Johto. Most people find this Gym to be the hardest one yet. It's the easiest for me. I trained to 36 to be on the safe side, and Ampharos trained to 37 because it won't be getting much experience any more.

Strategy:

Gyarados - Due to its low Special Attack, the only threatening move is Bite. Watch out if you're using Ghost types with Thunder or Thunderbolt, because Bite will HURT!

Dragonair w/ Aqua Tail - It likes to slow you down with Thunder Wave, then hit you hard with Dragon Pulse, Aqua Tail and Slam.

Dragonair w/ Fire Blast - Same as the other Dragonair, except it knows Fire Blast instead of Aqua Tail. Ice is generally your best bet against the Dragonairs, but watch out fir FIre Blast from this one.

Kingdra - or in other words, the Powerhouse. It hits you hard with Hydro Pump and Dragon Pulse and Hyper Beam. Dragon is its only weakness, but your own Dragons match up badly against Dragon Pulse. Hit it with your strongest attacks, or be lazy like me and OHKO it with Perish Song.

Perish Song is the best move in the world!

After defeating Clair, she will have a tantrum and tell you she won't give you your badge until you go to the Dragon's Den. I will do that next video.
