Pokémon Stadium 2: Part 27 - Earl's Academy | Trainer Class (Skill Test/Battles)
6Welcome back to more of Pokémon Stadium 2!
This is Part 27, where I will finish off the Trainer Class in Earl's Academy!
Last time in Part 26, I managed to complete the Lecture and also the Wisdom Test (AKA the Pop Quiz).
What I will be doing is a series of battles in this part; this is known as the Skill Test.
I will be battling the following Trainers and I will need to choose the three correct Pokémon to battle against them with what they're trying to learn.
If you choose the three correct Pokémon to use in battle against each of these opponents, you will get a Star next to them if you win; if you pick at least one of the wrong Pokémon and you win. you will get a Fire next to them instead and will have to battle them again.
The trainers I will battle, with their respective skills to learn, are:
1. Camper Cole - Teach him favorable matchups against Grass-type Pokémon (Correct Pokémon - Growlithe/Pidgeotto/Beedrill) (Wrong Pokémon: Kabuto/Pupitar/Quagsire)
2. Super Nerd Melvin - Teach him favorable matchups against Fire-type Pokémon (Correct Pokémon: Furret/Miltank/Stantler) (Wrong Pokémon: Clefable/Persian/Aipom)
3. Schoolboy Carson - Teach him how to battle with diverse Pokémon teams (Correct Pokémon: Magmar/Hitmonlee/Bellossom) (Wrong Pokémon: Hypno/Ampharos/Weezing)
4. Swimmer Clayton - Teach him how to deal with set-damage moves such as Dragon Rage, Seismic Toss & Sonicboom; try to pick which moves work well with Acid Armor & Barrier in effect (Correct Pokémon: Dragonair/Pinsir/Murkrow) (Wrong Pokémon: Pigeot/Corsola/Hitmonlee)
5. Youngster Jonathan - Teach him how to dodge two-turn moves such as Solarbeam & Skull Bash; choose the Pokémon that can learn Fly and/or Dig (Correct Pokémon: Croconaw/Delibird/Aerodactyl) (Wrong Pokémon: Seaking/Dugtrio/Raticate)
6. Picnicker Cyndy - Teach her how to overcome her Pokémon that will use Amnesia; use physical attacks against them (Correct Pokémon: Lickitung/Granbull/Fearow) (Wrong Pokémon: Girafarig/Dewgong/Magmar)
7. Lass Nancy - Teach her how to attack while she has Double Team in effect; select the Pokémon that can learn moves such as Swift and/or Faint Attack (Correct Pokémon: Noctowl/Golbat/Eevee) (Wrong Pokémon: Lickitung/Flaafy/Togetic)
Once I complete all three sections (Lecture, Wisdom Test & Skill Test), I will win a Pichu Medal for clearing the Trainer Class; I will unlock the Gym Leader Class, which is what I'll be doing next time.
