The last Gym before the Elite Four, this is the Viridian Gym in Round 2. The Trainers are a lot more difficult, and this will require strategy in order to win, as the Trainers use Pokémon of many types. The team I went with is Graveler, Gengar, Electrode, Starmie, Jolteon, and Articuno, while their types do help against most types, like Flying, Ground, Water, many other types.
I will list each Trainers, and the nicknames of the Pokémon, with the species name of the Pokémon in brackets.
Battle 1: Rocket
Golbact1 (Golbat): Wing Attack, Hyper Beam, Confuse Ray, Mega Drain
Catact2 (Raticate): Hyper Fang, Dig, Super Fang, Ice Beam
Peract3 (Persian): Slash, Thunderbolt, BubbleBeam, Toxic
Kangact4 (Kangaskhan): Earthquake, Thunderbolt, Blizzard, Body Slam
Drioact5 (Dodrio): Drill Peck, Rage, Agility, Hyper Beam
Sectact6 (Parasect): Spore, Slash, Mega Drain, Growth

Battle 2: Lab Man
Tops-Kab (Kabutops) Double Team, Hyper Beam, Slash, Surf
Ton-Magne (Magneton): Double Team, Thunderbolt, Swift, Screech
Ow-Fear (Fearow): Double Team, Toxic, Double-Edge, Drill Peck
Chan-Mon (Hitmonchan): Double Team, Mega Kick, Seismic Toss, Ice Punch
Wrath-Poli (Poliwrath): Double Team, Psychic, Body Slam, Hydro Pump
Tung-Licki (Lickitung): Double Team, Blizzard, Counter, Thunderbolt

Battle 3: Cool♂
Omstor (Omastar): Seismic Toss, Ice Beam, Hydro Pump, Submission
Driostor (Dodrio): Toxic, Double Team, Body Slam, Drill Peck
Cruelstor (Tentacruel): Screech, Surf, Mega Drain, Wrap
Fablestor (Clefable): Body Slam, Thunderbolt, Ice Beam, Psychic
Zapstor (Zapdos): Drill Peck, Thunder Wave, Thunder, Swift
Pinstor (Pinsir): Bind, Slash, Seismic Toss, Toxic

Battle 4: Giovani
Persian: Screech, BubbleBeam, Slash, Thunderbolt
Tauros: Earthquake, Fire Blast, Blizzard, Thunder
Nidoqueen: Double Kick, Blizzard, Thunderbolt, Body Slam
Nidoking: Earthquake, Thrash, Thunder, Surf
Gengar: Hypnosis, Dream Eater, Night Shade, Explosion
Moltres: Fire Spin, Fly, Double-Edge, Toxic

Most of the Pokémon used are identical to the teams from Round 1, the difference is Rocket uses Kangaskhan instead of Moltres, Lab Man and Cool♂ use the same Pokémon from Round 1, but they have different moves, Lab Man still using his Pokémon which all have Double Team. Giovani, the reason where there is one "n" in his name is because back then Trainers can only have up to seven letters, and Giovanni is eight letters. He now has Gengar and Moltres, when replace Dugtrio and Rhydon, and he is a lot harder, Gengar can use Explosion to get in a lot of damage, and Moltres has Fire Spin and Fly, most of his team have moves to deal with their weaknesses, for example, Nidoking has Thunder and Nidoqueen has Thunderbolt to deal with Water-type Pokémon, Persian's BubbleBeam is to take on Rock-type Pokémon, and Tauros has a wide variety of moves of different types, this is a very challenging battle, but we'll see what the Elite Four have in Round 2.
