Making the way through Route 1 and catching a bunch of new Pokémon (in other words, all of them).

Key Notes:

Exploring areas with Pokémon
- Before, walking in grass would randomly start a battle against a wild Pokémon. Not anymore! This generation now shows Pokémon freely wandering around the grass, so you can accurately check when to get into a battle without wasting fight wooshes trying to find out what Pokémon awaits behind the fight woosh.
- However, that doesn't mean the grass is less important. More often than not, a warning sign will alarm your from an unseen Pokémon hidden under the sign. Also, more often than not, these signs are right in the way of where you're walking, so you may accidentally run into them if you're not careful.
- Oh, and the Pokémon you see wandering may chase you down, so be careful.

Your Growing (Dynamax-unrelated) Team & Levels
- The experience gained fighting foes is proportional to your Pokémon's current level. So if you fight a foe with a lower/higher level than yours, expect your Pokémon to gain a lot/a bit of experience. Try to balance your experience gained.

The Permanent Team-Wide Exp. Share
- For whatever reason unknown to players, the handy Exp. Share key item (introduced in Gen V) doesn't exist...but its effect does, but this time, unlike previous occasions, YOU CANNOT TURN IT OFF. This means that EVERYONE in your team that didn't participate in a battle will gain a bit of experience. If they do participate, they will get the full amount.
- This has the unfortunate side effect of giving you the means to steamroll all trainers (including special ones) with little effort very quickly. If you want to keep the difficulty high, avoid as many battles as you can but still pick some here and there (that also means avoiding trainers in the way). If you don't care, pick all the fights you want (which also include capturing Pokémon). Relatively speaking, fighting all trainers is fine and will leave a bit of difficulty.
- This is all assuming you don't switch your team too often. You may as well rotate between several Pokémon outside your main team to keep the difficulty up. If you stick to one team, chances are you'll become a demigod.

Fighting Wild Wooloo
- ...And speaking of which, defeating this sheep in the wild nets you absurd amounts of EXP. If you ever feel like you want to level grind a newbie at a low level, hunt these down for massive rewards.

Watch, enjoy, and comment, everyone.
