Like with the last few online battles I have done, I choose a song that was added in the Crown Tundra update, and because this is a really good song, I decided to pick that song for this battle, and my opponent enters with a team of Legendary Pokémon, and the ones he goes for are ones that are banned in Ranked Battles, or even banned in competitive battling in general, but I was surprised to see my opponent have Cross Poison on Eternatus, I wasn't sure if this was one that was just caught, or if my opponent used any TMs and TRs, because Cross Poison is one of the moves Eternatus has once captured, but it would be better to have Sludge Bomb or Sludge Wave on it, so I'm not sure if they were just captured without any EV training, because Mewtwo does come with Blizzard when caught in Dynamax Adventures, and that does give good coverage against Dragon, Grass, and Flying-type Pokémon, although it would be better to teach it Ice Beam.
I put some more Pokémon to the test, even though I did use Alcremie in online battles, way before the release of the DLC updates, there is a notable change, she is now capable of Gigantamaxing, and she has Draining Kiss and Mystical Fire for attacks, Recover to heal up, and Calm Mind to boost her Special Attack and Special Defense. If the best thing Eternatus can do is use Cross Poison, and having Alcremie Gigantamax against it works well, because normally, Eternatus's Dynamax Cannon would do increased damage against a Dynamaxed Pokémon, but since my Alcremie is a Fairy-type Pokémon, Eternatus's Dynamax Beam would not work, so I found this to be a good strategy, although I do wonder how different it would be if I had Psychic on Alcremie, the reason I find Gigantamax to be better on Alcremie, because G-Max Finale does provide healing for her.
I did have Abomasnow do well against one opponent that had some fast Pokémon that were weak to Ice, and I did have Trick Room from Bronzong up in that fight, and after my Abomasnow took down two of my opponent's Pokémon, and said opponent wasted a Dynamax on Galarian Moltres, which proceeded to get taken out by Abomasnow's Blizzard, and my opponent gave up.
Abomasnow has a Focus Sash so he can survive a powerful hit, and he has Ice Shard for priority, Blizzard for 100% Accuracy in Hail, Energy Ball and Earth Power are other good Special moves on him. While Abomasnow's type combo is one of the worse defensively, I was able to put him to good use in one battle, and if my opponent used any of the Galarian Birds, I could be able to survive one of their attacks with the Focus Sash and even take them out in one Blizzard, but since my opponent used Zacian, this did turn out to be a tough fight, and anytime I see Zacian used online, that player would use Giga Impact, and I don't understand why, because there is no benefit from having Giga Impact on Zacian, that is poor coverage, I don't know if this Zacian had Giga Impact, but I would see Behemoth Blade used by it.
