The year has come past, and the first Pokémon for 2021 Surprise Trades, I wasn't sure whether to choose the Pokémon or randomize my list, so I decided to go with random, and the first Pokémon of 2021 is Nincada of all Pokémon.
Whenever I do Surprise Trades, I breed for 31 IVs in at least 4 or 5 stats, or in rare cases, some can have 31 IVs in all 6 stats, and these Nincada have an Adamant Nature, it's basically either that or Jolly depending on what you want to go with, and for Egg Moves, I went with Night Slash, Bug Bite, Final Gambit, and Flail, it can get Gust, but it isn't worth the time, as Gust is a very weak move, and Nincada is not a Special Attacker. I will list which parents in the Bug Egg Group that can learn those moves.
Bug Bite: Caterpie, Butterfree, Pinsir, Shuckle, Ninjask, Combee, Skorupi, Drapion, Venipede, Whirlipede, Scolipede, Dwebble, Crustle, Joltik, Galvantula, Durant, Larvesta, Volcarona, Grubbin, Charjabug, Vikavolt, Dewpider, Araquanid, Golisopod, Sizzlipede, Centiskorch
Final Gambit: Shelmet, Accelgor
Flail: Dwebble, Crustle, Karrablast, Escavalier
Gust: Butterfree, Combee, Volcarona
Night Slash: Skorupi, Drapion

A good selection of Egg Moves, and even though Nincada's evolved form Ninjask can get Bug Bite as a level up move, I decided to have Bug Bite on Nincada over Gust.
Nincada has a weird mechanic, even though it evolves into Ninjask at Level 20, if you have a spare slot on your team, you will obtain a Shedinja if you have a regular Poké Ball in your inventory. Back in Gen 3, when Nincada evolves, the Shedinja would be in the same Poké Ball the Nincada was caught in, but from Gen 4 onwards, Shedinja can only be in a Poké Ball, so the only way to have a Shedinja in a different kind of Poké Ball in this game is to capture one from a Max Raid Battle.
Time to go over level up moves, starting with Nincada, it can get Harden, False Swipe, Mud-Slap, Absorb, Metal Claw, Fury Swipes, Mind Reader, and Dig. When it evolves into Ninjask, it can learn Double Team, Screech, and Fury Cutter upon evolving, and it can get Baton Pass, Aerial Ace, Bug Bite, Slash, Swords Dance, and X-Scissor, and for Shedinja's level up moves, it can get Shadow Claw, Grudge, Confuse Ray, Shadow Sneak, Shadow Ball, Spite, and Phantom Force.
To go over TMs and TRs, Ninjask can get Dig, U-turn, Acrobatics, Leech Life, Substitute, Endure, Bug Buzz, and a few others, and Shedinja can get Dig, Thief, Will-O-Wisp, Ally Switch, Agility, Leech Life, Endure, Trick, and a few others. Both Shedinja and Ninjask get Skitter Smack, Shedinja can get Poltergeist, and Ninjask can learn Dual Wingbeat from the Tutor moves.
Then for online battles, back in Gen 3, not counting alternate forms, Ninjask was the fastest Pokémon in the game, the only other Pokémon that had a higher base Speed stat was Speed Forme Deoxys, but right now, Regieleki holds the title of the current fastest Pokémon in the game.
Ninjask's main role is to use Substitute, set up Swords Dance, and use Baton Pass to give the boosts to a teammate, like Cinderace, Mimikyu, or Dracovish, so they can sweep the opposing field. Ninjask does have a decently good Attack stat, so it can make use of moves like Dual Wingbeat and Leech Life after a Swords Dance boost, but it isn't that defensive, so most Ninjask sets use a Focus Sash to prevent it from being taken out in one hit. Ninjask is overshadowed by Scolipede and Blaziken, as both of them get Speed Boost and have access to Swords Dance and Baton Pass, and they have higher Attack than Ninjask, so there isn't much reason to use Ninjask, and it is unviable in Double Battles, so don't bother using it over Durant or Scizor.
Then for Shedinja, this Pokémon only has 1 HP, and it has a unique Ability called Wonder Guard, which protects Shedinja from damage against moves, but it can only be harmed by super-effective hits, weather effects, entry hazards, and status conditions, and if an opponent has Mold Breaker. It's a popular user of the Safety Goggles to protect it from weather effects.
Shedinja has seen use in Ubers back in Gen 4 where it was one of few Pokémon that is able to stand up to Choice Specs Kyogre and its devastating Water Spout. For moves, it can get X-Scissor and Poltergeist, and it can use Will-O-Wisp to inflict a burn on its target. I remember in Gen 6 or 7 Double Battles, there is the Sturdy Shedinja strategy where it requires a teammate like Audino use Skill Swap on Carbink while it sets up Trick Room, then switch out Carbink for Shedinja and have Audino use Entrainment on Shedinja to give it Sturdy, and another strategy is Soak from Seaking to make Shedinja a Water-type, and Seaking can get Lightning Rod, making Shedinja only weak to Grass-type moves, so you can do many things with it. Mimic on Shedinja to copy Entrainment from Audino and using it on like Spiritomb or Electivire can give them Wonder Guard, and Electivire can use Magnet Rise, making it immune to any attack.
