I used: Zoroark, Mantine, and Dragalge
My Opponent used: Lucario, Inteleon, and Charizard
Stadium: Standard
Battle BGM: Marnie 2

My opponent's team isn't much to be said, because it has mostly Pokémon that would be often used by players that use story-based teams, but there are some good Pokémon that my opponent has, and I did like his choice of Lucario, Inteleon, and Charizard for this battle, and some of the moves my opponent has on them.
I could go over my other team members, and the main one for this team is Zoroark, and this was a Pokémon that was hindered by team preview, so you would know that your opponent has a Zoroark on the team, so this does make the Illusion Ability a bit useless, but you will need to know what Pokémon to pair up Zoroark with, and the most common teammates for Zoroark are usually Poison and Fighting-type Pokémon, so it would enter the battle as one of those Pokémon. When using Zoroark, you can even trick the AI in Pokémon games into using Psychic-type moves against Zoroark when disguised as a Fighting or Poison-type Pokémon. For this Zoroark, she has Flamethrower to deal with Steel-type Pokémon, and Sludge Bomb for type coverage against Fairy-type Pokémon, and Night Daze for a good Dark-type move, it does have more power than Dark Pulse, but less Accuracy. I did like the Zoroark vs Lucario lead for this battle, as this is a reference to them being the first Pokémon revealed before their debut games released, while this is the case for Zoroark being the first Gen 5 Pokémon to be revealed, for Gen 4, Munchlax was the first Pokémon to be revealed, but Lucario was revealed years before the release of Diamond & Pearl, so it was one of the first few Pokémon to be revealed.
For the rest of my team members, Dragalge is there as a teammate for Zoroark to trick any Psychic-type attacks, and while she didn't do too much in the fight, I hope to give Dragalge another chance to fight, I did test her out in Restricted Sparring, so I do want to use her in another battle at some point.
I use a very unusual option, out of all the Pokémon to fill in my team, I go with Mantine. I didn't realize that my Mantine still had Water Absorb, because for the moves I went with her, Swift Swim would be the better Ability, and this Mantine's moves makes use of Dynamax, she has Hydro Pump and Hurricane for Max Geyser and Max Airstream, making her a great sweeper in the rain, that would be if I remembered to change her Ability to Swift Swim, but Max Airstream does give Mantine enough Speed to get past some threatening opponents, while it is an overlooked Pokémon, Mantine has seen competitive use in Gen 7 because this was when it got Roost, and it has good Special Defense and access to moves like Scald, so at least Mantine had viability in the Sun & Moon competitive battling days, but for Swift Swim, there were better options.
