Magneton's Self Destruct ability was pretty meh since it cost 4 energies and knocked itself out. Pretty big turn off back then, especially for most of us noobs.

But there was a pretty big work around to prevent it from knocking itself out and dishing out self destruct twice.

A rather technical deck. Also in the mix is Zapdos and Electabuzz as back up strats.
