Pokémon Violet Playthrough – Part 1
13Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are officially available in Australia and Japan, so I show my playthrough of Pokémon Violet. I go through the first part of the game, which is a bit slow in the beginning until you start running outside with the three starters. Once we reach the rival’s house, (17:27) I am able to select Fuecoco as my starter. After learning how to battle, I head up to Poco Path, where you learn how to catch Pokémon. I spend quite a bit of time there planning out my party as I catch a good amount of Pokémon. Afterward, we hear a mysterious cry and find an injured Miraidon (40:28). After giving it a sandwich, it warms up to us and we head through the Inlet Grotto with Miraidon in its battle form. As it helps the player fend off some wild Pokémon, we make it out to safety. At the Lighthouse, we meet Arven (49:54) and battle him, then we finally climb the lighthouse to view the academy.
Now we need to head to Los Platos, but I spend a bit of time at Area One of the South Province trying to catch a Wiglett. Afterward, I finally go through Los Platos and continue making my way up to Mesagoza. I am lucky enough to find a shiny Tarountula at (1:23:41). I have another battle with Nemona (1:29:26) before we finally enter Mesagoza.
I look around at some shops before getting unique Rotom cases from an NPC (1:36:36) since I had save files of the other mainline Pokémon games on Switch. After buying some X items and clothing, I encounter Team Star (1:43:20) and Nemona gives you the Tera Orb, which allows me to Terastallize my Pokémon (1:46:28). We finally reach Uva Academy and see what the learning curriculum is. I meet up with Arven again, which starts the Path of Legends story (1:53:59). After meeting up with Nemona in the Staff Room, we are introduced to the Victory Road story (1:58:46). We are introduced to Professor Turo (2:00:31), who is happy that we are taking care of Miraidon. After a bit more dialogue, a few days pass before we officially start the Treasure Hunt (2:07:03). As I prepare to head off, I get another call from Cassiopeia, which starts the third story, Starfall Street (2:12:01). Afterward, we are finally able to use Miraidon as a ride Pokémon (2:13:40), and I save afterward.
