The Legacy Maps have been part of Pokémon Vortex since its inception. All the way through to Vortex V4 was it the standard and only map system used (outside of the 2020 April Fools event). Even Vortex's predecessor, Pokémon Crater, used the Legacy Map system.
Version 5 of Pokémon Vortex introduced a new standard; the Live Map. With new areas to explore, even with the Galar Gyms on the maps, it was what new players saw as their standard. Only players that registered their account before V5 started had access to the Legacy Maps. As of today though, that is not the case anymore.
As of 15:40 GMT on the 20th of January 2020, the Legacy Maps are no more. You will be missed.
