I needed to use two X-Attacks against Iris this time, since Emboar was a few levels lower compared to my previous run. This ment an extra heal and I used an X-Speed too, hoping Hydreigon wouldn't land a critical hit. I healed up against Aggron too and it didn't attack while I used Flamethower on it. I could have tried Thunder Punch paralysis on Haxorus, since it has the Focus Band. I decided to let Iris heal it after a Dragon Dance to be safe and the rest of her team was OHKO'd.

Enter the Hall Of Fame with a time of 3:08 and a L73 Emboar.

This run was surprisingly awesome even if the game tried to break me with insanely bad RNG compared to Black's great luck. I'm amazed my previous run was still so far from optimized and now I know that need to follow the official route if I want to use the same Pokémon. This will most likely be my last run before Gen VI, but I'm still not satisfied with my Leaf Green run. I could try the new Rash Charizard strategies later this year or I will wait until the Citra emulator gets more reliable.
