Just when I thought that it couldn't get any worse then Skyla's gym, this happened: severe Swagger trolling. Another ten times in a row, I had 50% luck against me. I should have bought Full Heals in Route 9, but I decided to risk it and this segment took another one and a half hour to complete. I couldn't 2HKO the first Fraxure, so I used Bulldoze twice to outspeed it after Dragon Dances.
The main problem was the second trainer with Swagger, Substitute and Protect trolling and her Druddigon could even barely survive a +3 Return. I suddenly saw I still had my Protien and I decided to use it now. The triple battle was pretty save as I used 3 X-Attacks on the first turn, but somehow Axew managed to end two attempts with badly timed critical hits. Not Fraxure, not Druddigon, but Axew, just had to make my live more miserable with bad luck twice in a row. I healed during my successful attempt to be safe and it paid off.

Saved at 1:59 with a L45 Emboar.
