Dallas Campbell sets up an experiment to test how the mind of crowds work. In a cinema full of volunteers, a game like Pong appears on the screen. The volunteers have paddles with a green side and a red side, which side faces the screen has an effect on how the game is played. Later even the participants have no idea how the game was coordinated. The experiment's creator Loren Carpenter believes that what happens is that the crowd forms a subconscious consensus. What do you think?

Taken from Bang Goes The Theory: Series 6.
