"Well, well, well. Welcome, TO MY LAIR!"
"Lemme just flag something up: According to the control panel light up there, the entire building's going to self destruct in about six minutes. I'm pretty sure it's a problem with the light, I think the light's on the blink. But just in case it isn't, I actually am going to have to kill you. Um, as discussed earlier."
"So, let's call that three minutes, and then a minute break, which should leave a leisurely two minutes to figure out how to shut down whatever's starting all these fires. So anyway, that's the itinerary."
"Also, I took the liberty of watching the tapes of you killing her, and I'm not going to make the same mistakes. Four part plan is this:"
"One: No portal surfaces."
"Two: Start the neurotoxin immediately."
"Three: Bomb-proof shields for me. Leading directly into number Four: Bombs. For throwing at you."
You know what, this plan is so good, I'm going to give you a sporting chance and turn off the neurotoxin! I'm joking, of course. Goodbye."

This is another one of those spur of the moment uploads from me. I really like this song.
I really liked this final battle. Wheatley's dialogue makes the whole thing. There's not much I can say about it that the comment section of another upload of this song hasn't, but it's both intense and tragic. It's both interesting and sad to think about how much he says is what he really feels.

"We've had some times, haven't we? Like that time I jumped off my management rail, not sure if I'd die or not when I did, and all you had to do was catch me? Annnd you didn't, did you? Oh, you remember that? I remember that. I remember that all the time."
"And we would have talked our way out of it, except you forgot to tell me that you'd MURDERED her, and that she needed you to live, so the only available vent for her rage would be good old crushable Wheatley. Yeah. Little details that I remember. Easy little tidbits you could have used to save me from getting crushed if you'd cared, which you didn't, obviously. And still do not."

It's stuff like that. Are these things he thought of before going mad with power, or just things he's saying to justify his frustration at you? When he mentions trying to escape with other humans and that they died, did that really happen? Or maybe in his mind, you're the one that betrayed him. You just went on and replaced him with GLaDOS, and he's saying that to get back at you or make you jealous.

"Am I being too vague? I despise you. I loathe you. You arrogant, smugly quiet, awful jumpsuited monster of a woman. You and your little potato friend. This place would have been a triumph if it wasn't for you!"

Taking over the facility was too much power for Wheatley and it drove him mad. And with how quickly he comes off it after being disconnected and flung into space, and even arguably GLaDOS becoming less horrible after being disconnected shows there's something about that body that drives cores mad. It's all enough to make Wheatley seem so tragic to me. And this isn't even going into how good Stephen Merchant's performance is on some lines, and the whole half of the game you went through with him to build an emotional connection.
Can I mention Stephen Merchent's performance? His voice acting makes this fight. With how much I love this song, it feels just a little lessoned without Wheatley's ramblings in it. And sometimes it almost feels like Wheatley's really breaking down in some of them, saying what he really feels and lashing out in all sorts of thoughts and feelings his programmed to be stupid mind can't comprehend.

...I don't know why I went the extra mile to give this song a moving background instead of just a screenshot of this title screen. I just found out that these backgrounds were videos, found this one in the files, and decided why not. I doubt people are going to look at it for long, but if you do and notice any errors in how the background loops, oops.
