Despite Portal with RTX positioning itself as the game that has RTX, its not real ray tracing. Dx9 does not support it and uses technology, which is more demanding but doesn't necessarily need RTX card - Path Tracing. Despite showing similar looks this techology does not use RT cores to render lighting, therefore giving really, really bad performance. In case the game actually had RTX support, performance would be so much better and the remix would be so much easier and pleasant to run. It was fun, but not always the most enjoyable experience, mostly because of the end part of the game being almost completely unplayable with average of 5-9 fps. I still did complete it though, constantly restarting the game, because, apparently, it cleares vram and helps with performance a bit.
