This feature currently exists in Football Manager, in fact I have noticed that very few people actually talk about it. The FM Manual can be accessed from within the game and it includes detailed explanations of some features. Yet the feature can also lead to confusion as the in game interface, manual and SI developer answers on the forums sometimes contradict each other.

In this video I explain the presence of the manual then I show how it explains that the defensive line is both an offensive instruction and a defensive one. Then I explain how important explaining player instructions can be. I also express concern about the explanation of creative freedom and team fluidity.

Will we get the manual in an improved form in FM26, this could be vital if we want better adoption of the game from new users.
