Power Scaling Freya (Norse Mythology) @YFV

Power Scaling Freya (Norse Mythology)

In this video: I will be power scaling Freya from Norse Mythology, using the eighteen tales available on Norse Mythology Dot Org.

I will be going over her attack potency, destructive capacity, speed, weaknesses, hacks and notable mentions.

Attack Potency:
She doesn't have any attack feats in the 18 tales available on Norse Mythology Dot Org.

If her attack potency scales to her durability, then she has been shown to be capable of surviving being burned to ashes [https://norse-mythology.org/tales/the-aesir-vanir-war/].

Let's assume that regenerating from being burned to ash takes as much energy as it does to be burned to ashes, and scale her raw output of magical energy to said amount.

It takes around two point nine gigajoules of energy to reduce a human body to ash [https://science.slashdot.org/story/13/09/13/2122208/it-takes-299-gigajoules-to-vaporize-a-human-body].

Two point nine gigajoules of energy is equal to that of a .7146 ton explosion, which is enough to destroy an entire building [https://www.convertunits.com/from/GJ/to/ton]!

If Freya fired a bolt of magical energy equal to the amount of energy used to burn her to ash, then her bolt should be capable of destroying buildings and of course turning people to ash.

Destructive Capacity:

She doesn't have any destruction feats in the 18 tales available on Norse Mythology Dot Org, so for now let's just say that her destructive capacity matches her attack potency.

Speed:
Her falcon feathers can be used to shape shift into a falcon [https://norse-mythology.org/tales/the-kidnapping-of-idun/].

Falcons can fly at subsonic speeds faster than the eye can see.

The peregrine falcon can move at up to 240 miles per hour, and is the fastest animal in the world.

Weaknesses:
Freya can be burned to death, but if she is she can rise from the ashes like a phoenix [https://norse-mythology.org/tales/the-aesir-vanir-war/].

In other words, burning her to death only acts as a temporary setback for her, but it definitely could be used to buy an opponent time to come up with a better strategy.

If her opponent could burn her with an eternally burning flame, then it may be possible for them to prevent her from regenerating at all.

Hacks:
She can rise from the ashes like a phoenix if she is burned to death.

She has done this on at least three different occasions [https://norse-mythology.org/tales/the-aesir-vanir-war/].

She can use hawk and falcon feathers to transform into a bird in order to quickly travel from one place to another [https://norse-mythology.org/tales/the-kidnapping-of-idun/] [https://norse-mythology.org/tales/thor-the-transvestite/].

Notable Mentions:
"Freya was always the foremost practitioner of the art of seidr, the most terribly powerful kind of magic." [https://norse-mythology.org/tales/the-aesir-vanir-war/]
