Getting trampled (as per usual) in the normal verson and getting lost in what appears to be unfamilliar territory - no memory of any artifacts or powerups from the original at all yet there they were major presence in the remake version.... baffling.
Excellent shooter mechanics and beautifull settings of Egypt (that is afterall why the comparison to serious sam the first encounter, the book intro of second ecnounter probably coppied from powerslave dosent realy hurt that analogy either).
sad to say the DOS is prefered version for some reason... the oddball shooter is at least somewhat appealing in its classic way, the new bent is not that good.
