Practical test of the sulphite optimized mapping strategy (21 maps)
In a previous video ( https://youtu.be/Lm2zsMEf8yM ) I outlined a strategy for mapping that is somewhat wasteful in terms of maps, but that gets you to meet Niko quickly.
Here's a practical test of the strategy outlined in my last video.
Had 2 Nikos (statistical average of 2.52) but the lucky loot drops more than made up for the slightly below average sulphite.
I believe even with my current build (only 34% in total movespeed increases, plus a single Quicksilver Flask) this shows that 30 maps per hour, for 3.6 Nikos per hour, is plausible. At 4000-ish sulphite per Niko, that's 14400 sulphite.
Much more if you have more movespeed and aren't distracted by commentary.
Costs are reasonable. In this video the exalt drop or the annul drop more than paid for everything (and IIRC I got two T16 maps too), those drops were lucky but still you should expect to at least break even, probably profit.
I've not decided whether tier 12, 13, 14 or 15 is best. At present I think the answer is 14 in Synthesis Softcore. Early in flashback, the answer will probably be not at all (days 1-2) and tier 9-11 (days 3-5).
