Divine Ire was recently added and is a powerful skill specialised at bosskilling, but solid in party play.

Here I discuss how to find other proven passive trees, and the merits of various ascendancy choices (Trickster is the best choice for most players)

Divine Ire - Infused Channelling - Controlled Destruction

and choose from the following added supports (discussion in video)

Elemental Focus
Physical to Lightning
Cold to Fire
Energy Leech
Concentrated Effect

Trickster is great for getting maximum benefit from your elemental conversion.

You can also consider Elementalist for elemental ailment proliferation (Stormfire Ring recommended which is unlikely to appear if you are SSF); Guardian for some interesting charge interactions, or if you want to be a complete hipster build, I believe (this is NOT tested) that you can get some solid results with an Assassin and poison.

Auras - These will vary from build to build. Default to Zealotry and Herald of Ash.

For passive trees, if you are not confident designing your own, consider replicating one from the poe.ninja website.
