This is the 121st Video of our Playlist "Array 1D/2D : Popular Interview Problems" by codestorywithMIK

In this video we will try to solve a medium-easy Array based Problem involving pime numbers : Prime Subtraction Operation | Straight Forward Approach | Leetcode 2601 | codestorywithMIK

I will explain the intuition so easily that you will never forget and start seeing this as cakewalk EASYYY.
We will do live coding after explanation and see if we are able to pass all the test cases.
Also, please note that my Github solution link below contains both C++ as well as JAVA code.

Summary :
The approach uses the Sieve of Eratosthenes to precompute prime numbers up to 1000, storing them in a boolean array isPrime. In the main primeSubOperation method, the algorithm iterates from the second-last element of the nums array to the beginning, ensuring each element is strictly less than the next.

For each element that isn’t less than the next, the algorithm finds the largest prime number p less than the current element nums[i], and checks if subtracting p would make nums[i] smaller than nums[i+1]. If it does, it updates nums[i]. If no suitable prime exists to make the element less than the next, the method returns false. If all elements satisfy the condition, it returns true. This approach ensures that each element in nums is less than the following element by selectively subtracting prime values.
