Description from the Author:
This is the first map I've ever made. I have agoal of developing a full 32 maps megawad, but it'll likely take many many months as I don't have the time I need right now. It was inspired by Darkstar Archangel's "Lava Giant" map. Hence the endless lava in every direction.
The basic premise of the story is that yet another set of experiments by UAC in harvesting the Sun's energy have led to it's disappearance. On top of that, massive energy releases have led to catastrophic earthquakes that pretty much destroyed the Earth's surface. Only a few chunks of rock are left above the endless lava ocean.
Some lucky ones even have survived buildings, but they are taken over and used by demons, although it is not clear where exactly they're coming from as no opened hell portals have been detected. The survivors have evacuated the planet. You are
simply left down there to be on your own. But you decide to fight your way through everything to either find a way to escape or to at least find and shut down the source of demon infestation. (The story may change, it's only 1 map after all)
Keep in mind it's supposed to be the first map of a campaign, so your choice of weapons will bevery small for now.
