PROJECT BRUTALITY 3.0 - E1M1 Mars City, Doom 3 Style Remake
619Project Brutality 3.0 is an upcoming version of one of the best available mods for the classic Doom. Project Brutality will probably be released after the DOOM:Eternal so it might take some time. Also, when you look at the Project Brutality Trello account, there are so many ideas to implement that it might take some time. Keep in mind when playing this Project Brutality revision from GitHub, everything is Work In Progress so bugs are EXPECTED.
This map is a classic mix of the E1M1 Hangar from Doom, and the darkish style with atmosphere from Doom 3. Whole level (unfortunately this is the only map) is dark, there is not so much light that can help you during the journey - if you have any addon with a flashlight, it's time to use it here. Lots of the rooms might give you some goosebumps, expect lots of Pinkies leaping at you in the dark corners. There are not any official secrets, but when you use the Wolfenstein 3d Arcade machine, you will be teleported to the very small portion of the first map in Wolf 3D. This is also a place where you could most likely find the Super Shotty or another shotgun spawn, they might come handy. The map is full Chaingunner, Sergeants, basic former Humans, Imps and Pinkies - I really recommend to play it at least with Chaotic Random spawn preset. With the Tiered Progression there is hardly a challenge during the playthrough, the map then is really a breeze, only the hardly distinguishable doors might be annoying to find.
