Project Zomboid How to setup a server with G-portal
Rent your Project Zomboid server at GPORTAL
Rent your own Project Zomboid server now. Prepaid and within the Gamecloud. This means that you don’t have to sign a contract and can switch between the different games in our Gamecloud at any given time. You don’t feel like playing Project Zomboid right now? Then use your slots for another game and when you want to go zombie hunting again next weekend, just switch back to Project Zomboid. Full flexibility and instantly online, that’s the GPORTAL Gamecloud.
Discord integration
You need to create a Discord bot.
You'll also need to have admin access to a server in order to invite the Discord bot, or create a Discord server, optionally with a dedicated channel.
Then, you'll have to record the Discord bot's access token and your Discord channel's ID.
Enter those two values into the server options, and when you start your Project Zomboid server and have the bot invited to a Discord server, you should see it appear online. I'm guessing that it sends server information to that channel, but I haven't been able to see anything yet.
I did some research. It looks like the Discord integration hasn't been fully tested and not expected to work right now. Some servers have supposedly been able to get it to function, but I haven't looked into how they did it.
