I decided to make this video beacause i had one PS Vita console lying around for a long time that i could not get restored using safe menu nor could i update it with Qcma. Originally it had 3.55 firmware and i tried updating it using the DNS trick but it failed somehow. Never have had this happen before.

Nothing, just black screen when powering on. I put it all together from spare parts i had. I almost gave up on hope and was thinking to put it for sale for like 10 €.

Only one option in the safe menu, which was to update the firmware. I've used Qcma before but this time it didn't help. I Put a game card in to see what it does if i'd try to use that for updating the firmware. It said i had to have a higher firmware than 3.55 on the card. I didn't have games that new, so i did some research on the internet and found a cheap game that should have that 3.60 (golden firmware) included the game card. Wasn't sure if this could work, but took a risk. Should have tried this long ago. Much more safer than the DNS trick or any other method.
