Watching a Virtual Gaming Library video to get a look at random games I remember playing back in the "rental shop" days, and one of the games that turned up was Eliminator! A game I had VERY little memory of, outside of the game's "futuristic ships" aesthetic and a secret level completely at-odds with said aesthetic. But in trying to look up footage of the secret level (named "Parole!") I got... nothing. There's an LP out there, but it skipped the secret level. And there aren't even any pictures of it out there! Outside of whatever I posted to my websites...

SO! I felt compelled to get a PERFECTLY LEGITIMATE COPY of the game and got a video of some gameplay! I've time-coded everything, as I want to show the aesthetic they aim to establish, before I show off the SECRET LEVEL that goes completely against that aesthetic. I imagine after all the apocalyptic grunge they needed something to destress, which includes a freakin' Cadillac ship! It's good fun.

Though I'll say now, the game controls a bit ass. Rather twitchy movement, and there's no proper brake system so going SUPREMELY FAST is an invitation to overshoot things. Reviews at the time didn't treat it kindly, and I don't think time's treated it well either. But I do honestly wanna have a log of that bonus level because it is genuinely just so amusing. It's like running around dm_mariokart in TF2, a good decade or so before that could've actually happened 😆
