I got reminded of this particular level again for some reason, and decided to sit down and let OBS record the Score Run I did for the level. Though it seems a couple rendering glitches got through - 12:08 in particular looks like an odd skip, but then there's a replay in the game if you wanna sit through all this live.
Yes, They Bleed Pixels has the DLC levels that I showed at the start of the year! But I only really showed the speed-runs of the levels back then. S-Ranking the levels isn't too difficult if you're meticulous in clearing out the bad guys. But All Hallows' Eve... hoo boy. The S-Rank requirement is 24,000 points! That's the most any of the levels ever asks of the player - The End wants 10k points, whilst Winter's End asks 11k points of the player. 24k is pretty nuts, even accounting for all those sweets and chocolates lying around - IF you were to get all 100 of 'em and got that +500 bonus, that's still 13,500 points left for the player to earn. Indiscriminate murder is rather counter-productive here - you need to plan out a route, dump the right guys in the right pits, and when the time requires it, ensure your combo DOES NOT DROP!
This is somewhat-attainable, but the biggest contributor to points would probably be... well, there's no PROPER labelling for areas, but in my mind, the set of areas starting with the two knife imps in the tunnel counts as the fourth major area (though feel free to correct me if my terminology is off!). All those shamblers, the squiddy things, the knife imps all come together for a bevy of blood just waiting to stain the spikes and surfaces. Get the chain going well, and you'll get a TON of points, sailing past that S-Rank requirement with room to spare.
However, as is probably apparent by the game timer, that is NOT easy, with a single fault or misstep costing the combo and tanking any notable score you could've had as a result. That Monday was rather stressful, I tell ya what.
This video shows a cut-down version of the replay. A few deaths are left in to minimize music hiccups, but this pares back the 68-minute runtime of the original recording to a more palatable fifteen-and-a-half minutes (with the speed-run to show the basic layout of the level for good measure)
