Teardown - "The BlueTide Computers" and "Flooding"
This week, I 'ave been mostly playin' Teardown.
Picked it up on the Steam sale after remembering some folks having some fun with the game, not too sure what to expect beyond "break big things into small things" (sorta similar to Hardspace: Shipbreaker in that regard...) but then once the game got going I realise it's more about meticulous planning of a heist where "make your own route" is quite literal, being able to blow holes in walls, cut roofs off ceilings, and over-all make things easier to grab in the sixty seconds given before the cops arrive. And there's just something so good about how I can look on Youtube or other sites for clear videos, and they almost never look alike in terms of routes!
So with that in mind, here's two runs I recorded - "The BlueTide Computers", the one where I realised just how much work I put in to make it all come together and thus felt compelled to record; and "Flooding", a stage where I kept ALMOST solving the run, before then solving the run.
Being able to destroy buildings is one thing; doing so whilst getting that "AHA" moment that lets me finally get the 100% clear is just a wee bit better!
