Playing a brief bit of Endless mode in The King of Fighters 2002: Unlimited Match with a plum-colored edit of Kyo, then going into the Options: Character Setting editor (5:04) to show the edit's RGB values.


You can see in the editor that you can edit FX that go with the character, like Kyo's flame effects. And I turned these plum-colored to match his jacket, but I found that when you for instance hit someone with a flamey thing and set them on fire, the fire on them is still orange, even though the flame you hit them with is your edit color, so it didn't really look right. : P



2002UM lets you save two color edits per character, to go with the four built-in color schemes each character comes with. And there are a lot of characters. : o And actually I've already replaced this edit in Kyo's first edit color slot--I think it's okay, but I came up with a snazzier scheme later. ; )
