As Yang, playing through "Street Fighter III: 2nd Impact" in "Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection" on PS4, with 2nd Impact set to max damage, lowest difficulty, and to its lovely widescreen mode, a display option that was built into the original CPS3 arcade game!

Unlike 3rd Strike on PS3, there's no option to lower the number of rounds per match, which makes things considerably trickier against the boss, Gill, who by the second round usually has enough energy meter to use his "Resurrection" ability if you KO him--this regenerates up to his entire health meter (if you don't hit him in time as he's floating there; I almost always seem to forget to do it in time : P).

Much as I like to tell myself I don't like playing the Yang/Yun brothers, this was I think my second-fastest play-through. Maybe because Yang dies fast? Haha eh well I did get a bit lucky against Gill in the end, what with him pretty much not guarding once he nailed me with that nasty meteor strike that almost finished me.

A quirk of 2nd Impact is that many of the characters have to face their particular "rival" character from the cast AFTER beating the boss! Ooh that rival really burns me up, trying to rain on my parade like that!

And of course in Yang's case it's that darn Yun. And they share a cinematic, which is super lame (and the cinematic is really short, and just of them terrorizing an older guy selling fruit on the street : o ??). : PP
