I've played Wizard of Legend (PS4 version) in local co-op -- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DtAc79R8DMs -- but not in single-player--until now! Seems like it's gonna be a bit grindy: you can find items/spells during a run, as well as buy them from in-dungeon shop-keepers with coins you get along the way, but items or spells you acquire in those ways disappear when your run ends; only the stuff you buy in town with crystals stays in your inventory permanently.

And I'm pretty bad at the game, but it does seem like the game isn't intended to be balanced to let you get through it without having buffed up your character: it's easy to get mobbed by just too many guys to take out fast enough with the limited spells you have at the start.

So...my single-player runs are probably gonna look pretty darn similar to this for a while. : P Maybe eventually I'll earn enough crystals to get some better stuff and start getting a little farther. : o (Getting decent at the game wouldn't hurt either! I'm not very practiced at games where you have to juggle lots of spell type things and their timers and stuff at once like this. : P
