In Street Fighter Alpha Anthology on PS2 (North American version), there are two secret games to unlock: you unlock Street Fighter Alpha 3 Upper--which is actually the arcade version that most stand-alone console ports were based on--by beating Street Fighter Alpha 3 with any character, even if you get wrecked by the final boss like I did (can't continue at that point ;_;); and you unlock a new, sorta remix game, Hyper Street Fighter Alpha, by beating every other game in the Anthology, including the unlocked SFA3'.

So here I am switching on the cheapest settings and beating all those games to unlock those other games. (I didn't realize 'til fairly late that one of the secret Options menus--eh you hold either R1 or R2 while selecting "Game Options"--lets you set your health and meter to regenerate, although they actually regenerate fairly slowly so I guess it wasn't such a big loss of time that I didn't have those on in the earlier games.) I struggled more than even usual in SFA3', at least partly because I forgot to set up my buttons so eh well that explains why Juli's moves seemed a little weird I guess : P

Oh yeah also I flailed around a bit in that game trying to access secret play style modes that I thought were in it, but they were actually in Hyper--I was reading the wrong part of the FAQ. : P

There are a bewildering number of secrets in the games! Capcom really went all out. : o The FAQ by Servbot001--when I was reading it correctly--was invaluable: https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/ps2/931620-street-fighter-alpha-anthology/faqs/43035

(And it doesn't help that move lists were taken out of the North American version! : P The FAQ postulates that this may have been part of a deal with Bradygames, so they could sell more of the official guide book. Sheez.)
