PS5 Backwards Compatibility Via Streaming? | Dualsense Haptic Feedback "Intricate" | Switch Not Dead
280A Sony patent for PS1, PS2 and PS3 emulation has surfaced, leading to questions of if the PS5 will have backwards compatibility for old gen games via streaming (AKA Playstation Now?). We already know that the Playstation 5 will support PS4 backwards compatibility, but we don't know for sure beyond that.
A dev has said that the haptic feedback and adaptive triggers for the Dualsense controller is "intricate" and "sensitive" and said it is far beyond rumble and vibration on older controllers.
The Nintendo CEO has said that they plan to extend the lifecycle of the Nintendo Switch, which raises the question of how? Perhaps the long rumoured Switch Pro will be real after all...
Elsewhere, an unknown Nvidia GPU that is speculated to be an improved RTX 2080Ti (or RTX 2080Ti SUPER) has surfaced, alongside Navi 21 and an announcement for the specs of Thunderbolt 4.
