Could The PS5 & Xbox Series X Get A Last Minute Spec Upgrade - Analysis
1,282With the Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X waiting in the wings to release later this year, the question is - will either Sony or Microsoft provide a last-minute spec bump for their respective systems.
The Playstation 4 had its RAM doubled last minute (from 4 to 8GB) and the Xbox one received an increase in clock speed for both the CPU and GPU. So there's still a chance that the Xbox Series X could bump the clock frequency for its graphics processor, or the PS5 could receive more compute units (or perhaps a mixture of this for both).
In this video we'll be looking over whether or not the PS5 and XSX could see bumps in their hardware for their retail configurations, and also discuss some of the challenges Microsoft and Sony would have for both the Xbox Series X and Playstation 5 respectively.
