Using the latest version of the 240p Test Suite for the NES, I am going to use the Stopwatch option to estimate the latency of the LCD screen compared to the portable CRT screen next to it. In order to get a sense of the latency, you should pause the video and compare the position and the frame count of the stopwatch on the left (CRT) screen to the right (LCD) screen.

The Sony LCD has a composite input which can be accessed through a 3.5mm mini-jack to 2x or 3x RCA adapter. The PSOne does not need to be turned on for the screen to work. The portable CRT has a composite input, but I am using the RF input instead. The front loading NES is good for these tests because it can output two distinct signals, RF and AV, without quality loss.

It appears that the Sony LCD screen has about 24ms or 1.5 frames of latency compared to the CRT. This is actually pretty good even by modern standards. Watch in 60fps, otherwise the video will skip too many frames to give a fair impression of the latency between the two screens.
