PuppetNYC Presents: James Sweeny on PuppetDB- A single source for storing your Puppet Data
PuppetDB collects data generated by Puppet. It enables advanced Puppet features like the inventory service and exported resources, and can be the foundation for other applications that use Puppet's data. James will be overviewing PuppetDB's capabilities, demoing PuppetDB and giving us an architectural overview of this new open source service driven software offering from Puppet Labs.
If you are currently using exported resources in Puppet, you should check out PuppetDB, as it is the new high-performance replacement for StoreConfigs.
Bio: James Sweeny is a Professional Services Engineer at Puppet Labs. He does training and consulting on Puppet Labs software and systems management methodologies.
