Ahhh, Metro...such an odd group, I'll tell ya. The games that Metro is involved in are very...interesting, to say the least. There is an odd charm to their games, whether it is the odd "Action Fighting Shooter" like Gun Master, an old school puzzler like Poitto, or this cute puzzler, known as Pururun. Their "sound" is sorta unique...the "sound quality" of their games is sorta eh (not CD quality or such), but the composition is different from some of the stuff I am used to hearing...especially from arcade games. It sounds more like console quality in the vein of Sega Genesis or such, but it doesn't sound bad. The style of the music is pretty "consistent", as in, playing different games, I feel that the music is cut from the same cloth. I'm not really sure how to describe it, but I think that Metro has a pretty decent music/sound producer or producers. The visual stylings of this and the other aforementioned games are pretty consistent too...considering all the games I mentioned were arcade games, some might find that to be pretty bad, and the visuals in a lot of ways are a bit more fitting for a home console, but that doesn't mean that I don't like the graphics.

Pururun has you play as two cute girls, Pipi (the girl with red/pink hair) and Moko (the girl with blue hair) and they go on an adventure to get a coveted diamond, and they encounter numerous weirdos along the way. The game doesn't "seem" complex at first...but the game gets difficult VERY QUICKLY...watching the intro of this video, the idea is relatively simple, but let me explain it anyway. You use blob-like creatures that have two colors, an "outer" color, and an "inner" color...for example, let's say the outer color is red, and the inner color in the center is blue. You match four blobs of the same "outer" color to break them open, which turns it one solid color, or whatever the "inner" color was. Therefore, to make progress, it is important to pay attention to the outer and inner colors. A basic chain works like this --- you have three blobs on the field and all of them are red on the outside, blue on the inside. You know that if you match any blob that is red on the outside, it will break and the three now reveal the blue that was on the inside...so to plan ahead, you would put a fourth blob that has an outer color of red and inner of blue...that way, when they break, if they are connecting, you form another chain...it's easier to understand watching the video.

At any rate, you get a "bomb" that can help clear 9 spaces in a tight spot, and sometimes, a "destroy all blobs of the same outer color" item, and new blob colors appear on later stages to add to the challenge! To beat the level, every time you match blobs, Pipi (or Moko, as the game is two players) gets closer to collecting the treasure at the end of a stage. A small character is shown on the bottom and will advance until the item is found...naturally, the further along you go, the harder it will be and chains will be more beneficial to moving them along. Pururun is pretty obscure...

EDIT --- I was pointed in the direction of the arcade flyer/etc. --- I am not sure how rare the game is, but I am thinking that it is a rarer arcade game. However, it is a fun game, so it is good to preserve the history of it.
