I've been playing World of Warcraft since early 2006, so it's been a part of my life for quite a while. I've decided to make an on-and-off Let's Play of the game, doing one zone at a time to experience the lore and the many stories of this huge MMORPG!
Wetlands is were the water from Loch Modan drains down through before it reaches the sea in Baradin Bay. It's a giant swamp delta filled with dangrous creatures such as crocolisks, raptors and bog beasts. But it is also home to many other creatures. Remenants of the first Horde still lingers here in the form of the Dragonmaw Orc Clan and Dark Iron Dwarves that didn't join the Alliance terrorizes the area. Not to mention all the Gnolls... Wetlands is the northernmost part of the dwarven lands, known as Khaz Modan, so as unwelcoming as it is, it's still their land and they'll defend it. After Deathwing destroyed the Stonewrought Dam, Wetlands was hit with a huge flood from Loch Modan. Now we have to deal with the aftermath!
