It's Puzzle Bobble, ported to the Super NES! There's the usual 1-player mode. The special bubbles from Bubble Bobble reappear with the elements of water, fire, and lightning, and have new abilities. Many of the stage layouts are the same as in the arcade game, though a whole bunch of new levels were created for this conversion, bringing the stage total up from 30 to 100. In addition, the big guy awaits at the end...
There's also the VS mode. For the first time in the series, you can play against a CPU, and like in the arcade version, play with another player. You pretty much know how it works already.
Challenge mode is an endless mode, where you just keep poppin' until a bubble cross the line. That's all.
