I know the 'On Fire' system isn't new, but I still think it's an interesting mechanic. People complain about the visual UI clutter it provides, but I disagree. When I'm on fire I want the whole screen to flash a variety of bright colors flash banging me in real life, have the edges of my screen covered in flame effects, and have everything I shoot emit fire particles. Let's not stop there, when I'm on fire, the game should be displaying a giant beacon of fire on me to alert my enemies, "HEY, SHOOT ME!"
