Release 3 of 3 today ... today was Promises Made, Promises Kept. Earlier today I was able to film, edit and release a Gear Review, and a Reloading video that'll premiere in the morning. As for this video, welcome back to Pwnery's Penny Arcade and our 3rd episode of Rimworld, Crash Landing Survival. We inch closer to becoming a functional civilization with our starting 3, and are trying our best to recruit a crash-landed enemy after healing them and keeping them detained. Look, I gave him a light source, we're not barbarians. He has 3 hots and a cot, a light, a source of heat - why's he so upset anyway? WE SAVED YOU! I didn't even ask for "half your s**t" on the threat of meeting Lucille! (I know not everyone'll get that).

So basic overview of Rimworld is a top-down view where you control people that look a bit like those old Nintendo Mii's but even cruder. You control their daily life, their tasks, even kinda arrange their marriages and the like. It's you (with them) vs the world (and anyone else hostile living on it). Nature will throw curve balls at you, space will throw them at you, natural disasters - you name it, it has it and it'll use it against you. It's a great Sim city plus Sim Life plus survival sandbox all rolled into one.

I've decided since there are several game modes, we'll delve into each one with their own 5-part miniseries. This first "season" will be the crash-landing scenario - the classic Rimworld experience. I didn't choose anything radical on this one, just a simple, vanilla experience. You have just as much chance of success as you do failure - the deck isn't overly stacked against you.
