Quake I Randomizer - Endless Castle run
1While it's been a while since I last updated it, something I had always wanted to do is showcase my Quake I Randomizer mod's "unique" feature: the Endless Castle mode.
Like the name implies, it's an endless mode. It not only randomizes the objects (like in a normal playthrough) but it also randomizes the level order, with the object randomization itself growing more unfair as you go on. It's also a Permadeath mode (or at least as Permadeath as vanilla Quake allows), where your run cannot be resumed once you die.
This demo was made with JoeQuake, but I had to play it with vkQuake because the antivirus felt like flagging it as a dangerous program.
